Natural medicine for herpes is a good alternative to prescription medications because there are less side effects and both treat the problem, but can't cure it.

For topical natural medication, I suggest the following:

a) Use tea tree oil at first signs of outbreaks. It is very effective because of its natural antibiotic properties.

b) If you have cold sores, placing a wet tea bag on the blister helps slow the growth. Try to use this method a few times through out the day.

c) Another good cold sores topical to help with decreasing the time it takes to heal after a outbreak is lemon balm extract.

d) If out breaks have already occurred, use aloe vera on the blisters to sooth the pain/itch and help the healing process.

For digestion to boost the immune system, use the following:

a) Huang Qi pills boost your immune system and can help reduce the intensity of your outbreaks

I got clinically diagnosed with herpes (type 2) about 5 years ago, when I was still attending college and had a foolish one-night stand. I understand lots of girls will say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a massive mistake that one time and all of a sudden I felt like I was going to have to live with the implications for my entire life. The hardest part was feeling I could never date men again. In the end, who wants to go out with a girl who has sores around her private parts? But since a friend shared this movie https://tr.im/G6GeG everything changed.

Not only was I able to eradicate all traces of the herpes simplex virus from my system in less than 21 days, but I was also able to begin dating again. I even met the guy of my dreams and I'm so fortunate to write that just a week ago, in front of everybody in a packed cafe, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!!! This program provided the chance to be happy and experience true love. Now I want to enable you too by sharing this with the World.

Though I can not offer any studies or 'proof' it works, only one personal experience, the Native American use of bloodroot has me convinced it can. My mother was diagnosed with end stage, metastasized lung cancer and given less then 3 months to live. The cancer was in all lobes of her lungs and one lymph node. I was skeptical when she insisted on me finding her bloodroot to take. As an RN, trained in traditional medicines, I had belief in a few holistic medical approaches but saw most others as just scams. My g grandfather was half Comanche, the knowledge of bloodroot had been passed down to my grandmother and mother. Used originally as a paste from the red colored root of a variety of flower plants in the Sanguinaria species for paint, later as a way to induce vomiting, then as a paste for skin problems. It is toxic to animal cells, so unless someone is past any other treatment, as my mother was, I would not recommend the use. Cell toxicity may be how it could have worked, since that is how Chemo works (killing both the cancer cells as well as healthy one). After much research, I finally found a powder form in capsule that was genuine-pure bloodroot. She lived 11 months, totally independent, never had to use oxygen and her death was due to massive stroke (likely brought on by a seperate pre-existing condition). Having her placed on Hospice prevented me from having any chest x rays, CT's etc.... from being done to see if the tumors and cells were actually being positively effected. Again speaking as a RN, I saw her original CT's and pet scans and have no other explanation as to how she could have not only lived almost a year, but lived the entire time without any symptoms of the lung cancer. WARNING: bloodroot IS TOXIC, I would NOT encourage its use in any form. For my mother it was literally a last ditch effort. I would love to it studied as a possible form of 'holistic' chemotherapy. If it was proved an effective type of 'natural' Chemo, the main benefit would be none of the horrible side effects of traditional chemo. My mother had no noticeable side effects the 9 months she used it.

There are NO herbal remedies that will control or "cure" herpes virus diseases . There are" real" medications out there that will help control the outbreak and severity. See your MD,and follow his advice. Take care. SW RNP

Here are a few suggestions:
1. Earl Gret tea bags put on lesions helps them crust over and not come back for awhile. It's the tannins in the tea.
2. Watch your intake of excess fats and oils.
3. Echinacea and St John's wort are good internal treatments.
4. A tea made from lemon balm is also a good internal tretment.
