a friend of mine is sick and I think its from snorting those pills.

Sure, you can snort any type of pill. You are risking overdose by doing this and it's probably not so great for your nose. (Paxil is an antidepressant and wouldn't get you high, but Xanax is a benzo and there are definitely abuse worthly qualities). Some pills have time release stuff and coating, so you'll have to pick it off. It's annoying, but you can't crush a pill properly if you don't.

Goodness... I'd imagine that snorting a powder could irritate your nasal area and throat, causing someone to be more likely to be infected or causing the infection.
For cripes sakes, don't let your friend do this again. Bronchitis is nothing compared to what could happen.

Xanax is NOT for snorting...so it might cause all kinds of problems. I am not sure it can cause brochitis, but I am sure it isn't helping. And it is very dangerous and addicting to snort xanax...very habit forming. When you snort your xanax, it affects the brain in wys it wasn't meant to be for. It is very unsafe.

I would say no to that question as bronchitis is usually caused from smoking,,which is in the lungs, when she snots I believe that these do not go to the lungs but directly to the brain then she swallows the pills as they fall down the back of her throat...I don't think this causes bronchitis,,which is coughing from the lungs and the airwaves...???does she get high from this???

well, I know someone that snorts all kinds of pills, oxycontin, soma, percocet, cocaine, valium, lortab, oxy IRs...etc. she now has these horrible lesions in her mouth, and throat. I honestly thought it was like herpes or something, but who knows. stop snorting xanax..see if you get well.

sniffing anything can you should go to a doctor to get checked out and lay off the xanax it is not perscribed to go up your nose
