My doctors have always told me that the normal range to strive for, is between 70 and 130. On the lower side when you have not ate for a long time and on the long side right after you have eaten

You can get a fasting glucose drawn to find out your personal baseline.

My father is diabetic and the Doc says he wants it around 6. So I would think not higher than that

i work with a lot of diabetic folks, and their doctors like their reading to around 100, give or take a couple pointes
