Hi There; Symptoms of HPV, range from no symptoms, meaning you have the syndrome but no outward symptoms to go with it. Symptoms that a person can see, are genital warts, possibly irregular menstrual cycle if female. Can you die from HPV, yes however this hopefully would not be the case, this is why yearly examinations with pap is so very important, a pap smear picks up HPV, even if no outward signs such as warts. If you test positive, the physician and you determine the course of treatment, can range from laser surgery, to colonization, to surgical removal of the cervix and uterus, depending on the stage. For the male, the most common outward sign is warts on the shaft of the penis, and around the base of the penis.

Oh my.
HPV is a virus, actually it is several hundred different virus. Just about everybody has it, somewhere. Otherwise known as "warts".
Sometimes they look like cauliflower, little bumps together. Usually there are no symptoms so obvious.
There are a few types that can cause cervical cancer if left undetected/untreated. With yearly pap smears the rate of fatality has gone down considerably.

No symptoms.
HPV virus is a carcinogene, as odd as it is. Ionizing radiation, chemical exposure and UV rays are all carcinogenes and it is not very common that viruses are.
But HPV causes cervical cancer.
