Most people chain smoke...many cigarettes a day, one after the other. Most people would have say, a few joints a day, so I would say your exposure would be longer and greater with a cigarette (which you also hold in your lips longer, thereby increasing your risk of cancer of the lip , tongue, or cheek membranes) so I would have to say that cigarettes are worse for you but your chances of dying from medical complications due to pot is still pretty up there. One other side effect of pot is that it affects short term memory so , say, you might die in the fire that started because you forgot you put the grease on for some fries when you got the munchies....so in a way, yep, pot kills. Sorry.

Absolutley just Google it up Marijuana is much better for you than cigarettes. In fact, you cannot get lung cancer from weed. Look it up. CNN and FOX and others have had stories on it. Only problem is the cigarette companies get left out and do not make any money :(

It is true that marijuana is theorhetically safer than cigarettes. But that's only because of the cigarette's large amount of "poisons" and chemicals that make them addictive. Marijuana is a natural, but still Illegal form of smoking.

Marijuana nowadays contains even more chemicals than cigarettes. The only "safe pot" is one that you grow yourself to verify its pure. Stuff on the streets is crap and pot is more dangerous than cigarettes. So, yes, you can die from smoking that kind of marijuana.

I've heard that too..I'm not sure if its true though. I never really hear anything about people dying from smoking marijuana.

I think the resin from smoking marijuana can be more harmful because generally there is no filter and it goes straight into the lungs.

There's no filter. It's for sure not good for your lungs or your heart. My brother - a regular smoker of pot - is dead. Heart attack at 45.

No, marijuana is not carcinogenic at all. There has never been a documented case of overdose either.
