of course they are! it's sort of like a latin spin on shepard's pie. but it's more portable (eat with your hands) and have a bit more spice to it.

You can only know if you like certain food by trying it. It might seem surprising, and some people might feel it disgusting, but Brits have the same digestive system as everyone else. If by eatable you mean edible, then the answer is yes. If you are unadventurous in the food area, then stick to fish and chips or other nasty cholesterol filled take aways. No one out here can tell you what they taste like.

I am a brit and I love em. You should try one! I am not going to tell you what it tastes like cause it will ruin the delight for you, Go on, live a litte!
