I have what looks like a Zit in my pubic area. Its red and it hurts when I try to touch it. It's only 1 and it's closer to my waist line than the shaft of my penis. Is this a Zit or should I be concerned it might be something else?

It is probably an ingrown hair follicle. Put some warm wet soaks on it and apply neosporin ointment and bandaid. If it gets larger or more inflammed, you may have to see your doctor to either lance it, and/or culture it. If there is only one lesion, and it isn't on the penis, I wouldn't worry. Herpes always appears in clusters of blister-type lesions. A syphilis chancre appears as one lesion but is on the organ itself.

Well it is very normal to get pimples and ingrown hairs down in your genital area. This can be cured the same way but the easiest was is to make sure there is no hair inside the infected area and do the normal procedure that you do to remove a pimple or blemish and then some neosporin. there is nothing wrong with you and also no squeezing until it is ready. The neosprin will bull it out.

Sound more like an ingrown hair a hot wash cloth and some rubbing alcohol will fix it !

it is probably a zit or in grown hair dont worry to much bout it but put a hot rag on it hot as yoiu can stand it
