Somebody sounds a little homophobic. Look, sodomy in and of itself doesn't spread disease. But you already know that. You are just trying to bash. Get a life!

Gays are not the only ones to spread disease. Infact, up until AIDS there was no disease. A heterosexual man was the first known case of HIV/AIDS.
It is ignorance in the world that spreads diseases and right on the same level as you....ignorance is a lot worse than those who have fallen in love with the same sex. It is not a choice to be gay, just like it is not a choice to be ignorant.
I feel "fear" coming from someone....
why dont you do some research in the animal kingdom and sexual practices amongst animals...you will find that sometimes even male animals will have sexual relations. this proves the point....if animals can't choose to be gay, why would you think a man or woman would choose to be gay?

as for making it a law? in the state of pa there is a sodomy law-between opposite sex, i believe this also occurs in texas as well. not sure about other states. it is never inforced unless it is a rape case.
if you consent to this type of sexual practice it is considered okay.
it is your right to say what you want, think what you want, but it is not your right to change a law that does not hurt you or others.
get over your fear. you may one day need blood (that may happen to come from a gay person) or CPR, or an organ. your daughter may be lesbian or your son could be gay.
sad thing about this issue is that parents are supposed to love unconditionally. i dont forsee that in your future.
last but not least, gay or lesbian it doesn't matter. what counts is how good and decent they are. and if you do have children one day that end up being who they are, it wont change who they already are.

Don't ask stupid questions. There are tons of straight people who practice sodomy. If you are basing your reason of prosecution on the spread of disease, then the next time you become ill with something contagious, then you would by your definition be committing a crime. Seriously, do you think before you open your mouth?

Well if that's the case we should change laws about oral sex to. That is against everything. There would be alot of people in jail for that.
