You don't want to wait a week for chest pains. At minimun, make sure there is not somthing real bad happening. After a screen, then decide if she can wait a week. It is most likely stress, but just knowing it IS stress will help.

There are a hundred and one things that can cause chest pain of vary degree, sensation, and location. Most of them are not immediately life threatening. She should probably try to get an earlier appointment, but don't be overly concerned.

Well, she really needs to contact her doctor immediately. They do not want her to wait a week with chest pains. Tell her to call right now.

she could have acid reflux or an ulcer...once she gets to the doctor and gets a percription she should feel better! good luck!**
