Most people on here who are saying they wouldn't should shut up because most of you have it. It's a fact that 2 out of 3 people have herpes.

If anyone says no than they're foolish.

Of course people date people that have the disease, even if they know about the condition. They're are many cases where people that dont have HIV are dating and even marrying their partner knowing that the other one has the virus.

the only thing is that it makes dating a little more difficult. If someone really likes a person, they;ll date them, and they wont let a virus get it their way. After all, although its incurable, its very manageable and people live long healthy lives even with herpes.

And be optimistic because researchers are getting closer and closer to find a cure. They predict within the next ten years they should find a way to completely eradicate the virus from your system

Has is not the picture. They still have it. It is not bad to with a person with herpes. Yes we all know it is scary to be with that person when the sex part come up. But didn't you learn how to have safe sex. A person with herpes should not be judges because they have the burden and you shouldn't be judgemental on them. They are hurting and embarrsed enough that they have it they don't need other to make them feel worst. It is not bad to be with someone with this condition. Just be careful. Thank you. Good question.

I think if you are going to date someone with herpes that you need to educate yourself about the disease and ways to protect yourself from contracting the disease. It is uncureable disease but it isn't a death sentence. Most of the people who have contracted this disease did so because a partner didn't know they had it or just didn't say anything. I feel that if someone is honest enough to share this information with you then they obviously care about you and wanted to let you know so that you can make a decision about where you want the relationship to go from there. Education is the key!!!

I know three women with herpes and all these women got it from partners who didn't bother to tell them they had it. One of these women told me that when she started liking this guy she told him straight out that she had it and he was fine with it. You lose out on life because of stuff you can prevent and prepare for. She is also the proud new mommy of a 3 month old.
