I typically eat lots of brown rice usually with beans, peas and/or legumes washed down with either water or juice (usually apple juice-which i usually dilute with water).
Breakfast typically includes whole grain bread with Hummous (meditaranean chick peas spread) with peppers and cucumbers.
I also have red potatoes with olive oil and italian seasoning for either lunch and dinner, again usually accompanied with some kind of beans or legumes.Alternately, I may have whole grain linguini or spaghetti with either ketchup or tomato sauce (i try to stay away from tomatoes though because of allergies)

I would say, what fills me up the most (and probably what I consume most) is Potatoes and rice.

Occasionally, I'll have Tuna or Salmon usually with Bread and vegetables. Even more rarely, I'll have chicken or (very rarely) meat.
So what says you?

Oh and I also take vitamin supplements every day. (B, C Green Tea Tablets, anti allergy formula (quercitin) garlic tablets and saw palmetto.

I'm a male in my early 20's.

I stay away from dairy because it gives me an allergic reaction as do many fruits (itching and rashes).

I am not doing this to lose weight just to stay healthy and feel and look good.

increase the veggies & fruits cut the juice out. apple juice is useless. water is ideal. I would tell you to add some more nuts and oils to increase good fats as it doesn't sound like you are getting much fat. Men need more per day than women (at least 40 grams per day). Also, add some yogurt or acidophilus (sic) pills for good bacteria.

It is genuine that raw fruits and greens have more nutrients. We started cooking meals for a motive though. Raw greens aren't as without problems digested. Cooking virtually help free up one of the vitamins and make it accesible. I'm not sure which gives extra nutrition to the body. I believe for some nutrients, it's a internet develop, at the same time others it's a misplaced when cooked. The other intent we cook meals , is to kill pathogens. It's even worse, now with manufacturing facility farming. One contaminated lettuce can contaminate an whole lot of lettuce. Incidentally, how can you get proteins. I guess nuts, however are attempting eatting a uncooked bean. Even shuckies are not that pallatable raw. I guess that you could devour spouts. If your a vegetarian, You shouldn't worry about maximizing your vitamins. In some coutries, they do compromise. They might put the vegetable in a boiling water for a speedy dip. It could kill the bacterias on the outside, at the same time the within could be still uncooked. I strongly advocate you do that for inexperienced onions.

i say your a better person then me that all sounds nasty . It sounds like you eat a lot of startches which is good but you need to add more fruits and veggies and some dairy to . Add yogurt or milk . Question is are you doing this to stay healthy or to loose weight . If your doing this to loose weight you need to deffinlty add more fruits and veggies so they out weight the starch you are eating . Yes potatoes is a vegtible but it is a strch one also . I see you like rice os start making veggie stir fry's and stuff be creative . I don't kow why you delute your apple juice unless you are sensitive to accitic foods . If this is the problem you might wantot switch to white grape juice instead . Apples itself will make you more hungrey . they clean out your digestive track extremely well .i personlly would bag all your vitimans except for the garlic and the allergy and go one the one day womens multi vitiman that has the green tea in it . I am not sure your male or female if your not female just go on the one day mens and bag the green tea pill all togahter and start having a cup of green tea a day hot or cold . Well goodl uck and hope I have given you some ideas .

Wow! I think you are one of the most health conscious guy that I've seen.

The diet you on, its very good.

But do you actually know what food are you allergic to? If not, maybe you should got to a doctor to have it tested. Then the doctor can refer you to a nutritionist that can help you to figure out which food is better for you and in what quantity should you have them. It sounds to me that you are allergic to quite a number of food.

I remember my sister telling me that if a person were to be a strict vegetarian (which she is), they should eat seven different colours of vegetables a day so that they have all the vitamins that they need. What seven colours, I forget. & if you stick to the seven colour veges, you don't have to pop in anymore vitamin supplements. The veges you eat should be ample enough for your daily intake. Because the amount of vitamins that a person's body can absorb has a limit; any more than the limit is actually not retained it in body. So don't overeat your vitamin supplements.

The soil is deplete of over 60 nutrients npk is used a lot, it is only nitrogen, phosphorus and potasium. 95% of Americans are nutrient deficient. That is why we are 60th for life expectancy in the World, other countries will not even take our food, since they now our growth methods are for profit not for health. Organic is only better nutrient wise within 3 days of harvest. Both organic and conventional loose signifagant enzyme and nutrient activity after 3 days. Organic is free of insecticide, pesticides, herbacides, fungicides and GMO though. Solution grow your own food in a green house year round and juice it to concentrate and or supplement. Not centrum or a lot of the other crapy brands that are on the take. Look at the Comparative guide to Nutritional supplements. USANA.com is # 1 multi vitamin
