my judgment is not impaired after smoking a regular cigarette.

That's a good question, I would lean towards the reason being, smoking a joint will impair your vision and your ability to think in a reasonable way, where smoking tobacco does not do those things, they both will end up killing you in the long run, if it's not heart disease, you end up being a pot head and belive me I have a couple of friends that I know who smoke it all the time, and they swear it does not inter fear with there work day, but they have both been divorced twice because of it.

Ok I asked this question the other day and I think its because Marijuana is a controlled substance that influences your actions its kinda like alchol, in both ways its not safe to operate things with it in your system but should be legalized cause marijuana in fact kills less a year than tabacco does

Because this country is seriously fuckedup when it comes to drug laws. Maybe some day we can blaze chronic in coffee shops and on the streets like we should be able to. Marijuana is safer and healthier than tobacco and alcohol.
Biggestperlnerd you are ignorant. Tobacco and alcohol are drugs too, should people who drink and smoke cigarettes be kicked out too? And when you go to the doctor and are sick or injured, guess what the doctor gives you to HELP you... Drugs. Marijuana should not be in the same category as really harmful drugs such as cocaine, heroin, crack or speed. I have a genius IQ, a college degree, and a better and higher paying job than you will ever have, and I've smoked pot daily since I was 12. As well as most of my friends and family who are all very nice, considerate, and well-off people. So know what you're talking about before you make stupid statements.

there are a few places that has it legal-although, it's for medical purposes (such as california, and possibly soon south carolina, among other states)
and weed (which is usually what is in a joint) is a drug that harms not only the lungs, but also the brain and causes people's judgement to react poorly-hence why so many people who end up high end up raped, killed, etc.
where as tobacco mainly harms the lungs, throat, and mouth
however there are some places that are trying to make tobacco illegal too.

down under theres rumours saying it will be illegal to smoke tobacco in a pubic place (say in 3 years) ( already banned in clubs and pubs and the casino)
