traditionally, mayonaise is seasoned egg york emulsified with oil. So if you are a vegan, mayonaise is out.

HOWEVER, there are commercially produced vegan products that mimic traditional mayonaise. Check your local health foods store.

You could also try to make some allioli, a Catalan sauce similar to mayonaise but vegan - simply olive oil emulsified with crushed garlic. Here's a recipe.

No. Mayonaise contains eggs. You might be okay with Miracle Whip but you'd have to check the label... it's probably got some form of animal product in it too. I know there is vegan mayo out there. Check online (www.veganessentials.com probably has something) or your local food co-op or even the health food area of your bigger grocery stores. You could probably find a recipe for a good substitute online too... maybe search "vegan mayonaise" or something and see what comes up.

Mayonnaise is made by whipping eggs and oils until they reach the consistency that you are use to. Therefore it is not suitable for vegans.

Try Nayonase or Veganase. The are vegan substitutes but they are more expensive.

Nope, no mayo. It has eggs in it. There is a vegan product I've seen that is supposed to taste similar, though.

If you are a true vegan then no. Remember there is a difference between a vegetarian and a vegan (vegan being much more strict)
