Go To The Hospital!

If there is something that can be done would you rather have it done to be sure, or be embarrassed!

Stuff the other answers - GO!

Just go to the hospital, it's better to be safe than sorry....they are not allowed to judge her openly, they just have to do all they can to help her.

I really can't understand why your friend would have unprotected anal sex, aids can be passed very easily like that, the skin in that area can break easily, and if semen that is infected with aids happens to enter the broken skin then it is quite likely that a person will cath aids. I'm not saying she now hasaids but it does happen quite often in that way. The doctors will be able to help her if she is taken to see them as soon as possible.

People need to be more careful when it comes to sex, always wear condoms (no glove, no love-remember that!), that way you remain sexually healthy. There are only a few execptions to not wearing condoms which include;
-If you are in a monogamous and committed relationship with someone who has no std's/sti's and are trying for a baby.
-If you are in a momogamous and commited relationship, with someone who is not infected with std's/sti's and are using contraception such as the pill, to avoid pregnacy.

It is only in the above instances that unprotected sex is acceptible, and even then you must be entirely sure that that person isn't sleeping around.

Take care, hope your friend is ok...but tell her to be safe in future...

What?! Who on earth told you there is a shot for AIDS? Do you not think the worlds population would be AIDS free if there was an injection they could give?

Don't waste precious hospital resources going to A+E, this does not constitute as an emergency unless your friend is wounded in some way from her debaucherous one nighter, tell her to go to the doctor for a full sexual health check up. And maybe tell her to start having a tiny bit of respect for herself too?

An emergency shot to eliminate AIDS? What color is the sky in your world? There is no shot to eliminate AIDS. If so, everyone would take it and AIDS would be cured.

If your friends has contracted the AID virus, there is nothing she can do. She should have thought of this before jumping into bed with someone she knows little about. IF she's concerned about AIDS, then she needs to be tested. The virus may not show up for up to 3 months and can even last up to 6 months before it displays any sign in tests. Therefore, she needs to keep getting tested. I suggest she refrain from sex until she knows for sure. Then I suggest she refrain from sex until she's married since she is incapable of being responsible now.

ummm not quite sure how to answer this question... i know for people who have been inadvertently exposed (not sex) to hiv positive blood or blood from patients with high risk they start the person on a strenuous sourse of antiviral prophylactic medication. i don't know if this would apply in your friends case, seeing as this "bloke" is not a known hiv person and the fact that this was not an accidental exposure.

She needs to get a bit of self respect for herself. Whatever happened to 'loving relationships' before jumping into bed with someone?? I can't see the fascination with one night stands. I have NEVER heard of a cure for aids, but good luck to her.

Why on earth did she do that and with no condom? And that he might be carrying something? its abit late now to be worrying the damage is done if he has. Tell your friend to keep her knickers on next time. I would go to the clinic asap! good luck

hospital for tests and emergency contraception. They won't care if you were stoned of drunk, they will just do their job. Don't let your imagination run riot - it is unlikely he was carrying aids, and if you get an STD you will be treated.

your friend should have thought about AIDS before she had sex if she can get a shot lucky for her,lets hope that she has more sense next time as she will need more than a shot as there is NO CURE for AIDS
