My mother had the same symptoms, they thought she was having mini heart attacks so they gave her a script for nitroglycerine-- the attacks continued so they investigated further and found out that she has barret's esophagus-- put her on prevacid 2x day, made her cut out acidic foods and she hasn't had the severe pain in a few years. This might be something worth asking your doctor about. Good luck to you.

It sounds like a panic attack. A lot of the symptoms are the same. Your best bet is to see a cardiologist to make sure there there are no problems with your heart. If he gives you the all clear go see a good therapist. Something that worked for me was yoga. The deep breathing and meditation really help. I do it at least 3-4 days a week and i haven't had a panic attack in over a year. Good luck!!!

It sounds like an anxiety attack or panic attack...some people make fun of this because they think we are making all this symptoms up for attention but they are real and yes they are there.....if you don't feel your doctor is understanding what is going on with you suggest he/she do some tests to rule out other causes of your symptoms (arythmias or something related to your heart)...yes stress is a big huge factor on anxiety and panic attacks...research on it and try to make some changes on your life..do something you like or wanted to do for a long time...start taking care of your feelings...and YOU :-)
Good luck!
