Hey everyone I was just wondering if someone has a list of as much food as possible that doesn't have gelatin in it. Also are their any brands of marshmellows that don't have gelatin in it? Thanks in advanced.
Love,
Deb

Gosh Deb, I'm sorry but listing things that do not have gelatin would be like writing a list of things that do not have chocolate... very, very huge.

As for your marshmallow question, these are the only vegan (non-gelatin) marshmallows I have ever seen.
They taste great. Sometimes on these two sites, you can even find them for under $1 because they are misshappen.

Occasionally, you could find some of these in good health-food stores. I live in Ohio, so it is hard to find a lot of good products like these.

Most foods do not have gelatin. A list would be extremely long.
Gelatin is contained in things like gummy bears, jell-o, and marshmellows. However, there are non-gelatin alternatives to all of these things.

There are several Vegan sites that should have the lists you are looking for. The best thing to do is look. Your local vege/healthfood store should help you. Normal non-animal subs for gelatin are Arrow root and Arger arger (sp?)

Very few do, an easier question would be which do . . .
I haven't had a food with gelatin in many years and don't eat marshmallows except around Christmas (too late to check those !)
I eat grilled meats, poultry and fish . . .
Veggies and homemade soups & sauces , so no gelatin.

It would easier if you made a list of foods that do. Many yogurts do and several margarines do as well. Read those labels when in doubt. There are WAY too many foods to list that don't have it.
