Yes. The odour comes and goes but will finally disappear. The sinisitis infection in the cavities above my eyes was so acute I was told that, if it didn't clear up, the only cure would be to bore up through my nose to empty the cavities in my forehead; a thought that scared the hell out of me. Luckily, after 7 courses of penicillin, each one stronger than the last, it finally cleared up by itself. Never had it since, but will never forget the pain and the trauma. Wish you good luck.

When the sinus drains into the back of the throat it will give you really bad breath and will continue for about a week. Ask your doctor for a nose spray, flonase or rhinocort. I used to have sinusitis about 6 times a year when my doctor put me on it 365 days. It really works only 1 in the past year.

what kind of antibiotics are they? I remember the last time I got Sinusitis. Not pretty. It climbed from that to something worse. I was given Amoxicillin, and that did nothing. They they gave me Augmentin. Absolutely disgusting product but It did work.

Just remember whatever drains out of your sinuses, it is best to get it out, and not keep it in!

Good luck,
Feel better!
