Are garnachas from guatemala similar to sopes. or gorditas from mexico?

garnachas in Guatemala are small, thick tortillas, topped with chopped, fried chicken or pork, salsa and dried cheese. They are very tasty and since they're small you can serve them as appetizers, sadly i dn't know how to cook them, i tried them once when i visited Tikal.
