Being in a cold climate does not inhibit the cold or flu virus. In fact, the virus cannot survive in cold climate. The warmer and more humid the air the more a virus will lie dormant.

You may be contracting the viruses because you fail to wash your hands frequently or/and expose yourself to people who contain the virus, have a poor diet, don't drink plenty of water and have a weak immune system.

Wash your hands often, especially after touching doorknobs and other people. Do not touch your face until you do. Maintain a well balanced diet and exercise to strengthen your immune system. And ALWAYS during PLENTY of water.
