My tonsils were in terrible shape .. they should have been taken out much sooner .. my case, before having them out was horrible. They were taken out when I was in my early 20's. Everyone said how much it would hurt .. after the operation, the only thing that really hurt a little bit was my jaw .. from it being held open. I am so happy I had them out. If yours are as bad as mine were .. sore throats all the time, etc.. you will be happy too. Believe me ! Good Luck ! :)

never had it done but have known people and its not good. It will probably take a couple of weeks to fully recover. The first 4 or 5 days will be pretty rough. You'll basically drink lots of pain medicene and milkshakes and sleep. Hopes this helps

i had mine done many years ago and i was in my 20s then and recovery was fast. didnt have any problems.. good luck
