The only 100% safe type of sex is to only talk about it! Condoms help enormously in protecting you but are not failsafe. There is no way to tell that most people have an STD, thats why they are so dangerous;

The safest way is abstinence. And no, you can't tell by just looking at someone if they have an STD.

Use a condom, and no, you can't. And even a condom is not 100%...... sorry
