the doc , after pressing on my temples and looking up my nose said i had a bad case if sinusitis and prescribed antibiotics and a nasal spray.It helped BUT now i have the horrible headache again. My sinusis had been bothering me last week.I went to my family doc last week, but she doesnt have a nasal attachment there to check my nostrils( how sad is that?!!)Since fri, im in alot of pain.I have an appt to see an ENT doc in middle of Feb. Could this be a bad case of sinusitis that just isnt getting better?The past 2 yrs Ive been bothered by headaches from Occipital Neuaralgia.The only thing that has helped has been botox injections. But now im wondering if in fact it may have been sinusitis even 1/2 the time.
Im gonna end up going to put patients clinic..is there anything I should specifically ask for?Ive tried everything , and this headache is very unforgiving.TIA for any input!

i had the same problem. Then I quit drinking wine, my headaches vanished.

While this may not be the cause of your problem, running heat in your house or even AC, especially at night, can cause breathing problems. Once I stopped running heat at night, my breathing problems disappeared. When I spend the night somewhere else where the heat is running all night, I wake up all stopped up and feel sick. If you have to run heat or AC, make sure the filters are replaced frequently. I would at least rule this out as a possible cause.
