I tried the stuff in Italy and it was the most delicious meat I had ever eaten.

And nobody give me any crap about it being "cruel" or "un-American" to slaughter a horse for food. They're ungulates-- same family as common cattle.

You can't legally get it. It's agaist the law in the US. If you remember Barbaro, that horse that shattered it's let at the Kentucky Derby (or whatever race it was), it was a big deal when it happened to animal rights activists and they got all pissy about horse who have similar injuries getting killed for meat. So they made stricter laws against horse meat.

Bottom line is, people like horses more than cattle. Cattle is legit to eat to us, but horses aren't. I know... pathetic.

I think you'll have to go back to Italy, horsemeat is not a common food in America. You may could have it imported, now why you'd want to I don't know.

They lied to you. It is well known that Italians feed unsuspecting Americans sheep testicles and tell the dupes that they are eating horse meat. They think it is so funny. So, you liked the testicles?
