was borrowed from the neighbour whose son had the pox 2 months ago???

I you have not had chicken pox or the varivax vaccine - then you can get chicken pox - you should discuss it with your doctor. Early treatment can prevent infection. Go in right away if you are not already immune.

No. Chicken pox is caused by a virus, and they can't live outside the body.
