Does anyone have any recomendations for a good quantity cookbook for casual dinners? Thanks!

Betty Crocker has a book that assembles meals. But Fanny Farmer has a better cook book for fundamental and good recipes. To the point and simple, sans flowers and candles.If you are not creative, check out Martha Stewart..She deals in fantasy. Not crazy about her stuff. She implies that she invented food preparation.........Also, ........cooks.com............. has a lot of good stuff.!

Taste of Homes offers a annual cookbook that has all the recipes that they have had that year in their monthly magazines. They have some great recipes that are also simple to make.
I try to get this cookbook EVERY year!

If you want to go the computer program route, there is MasterCook. Lots of recipes, lots of food styles.
