It's safer against pregnancy, but not STDs. Both forms of sexual contact have about the same amount of risk in terms of contracting a disease. The safest way to have sex is with condoms and if you are going to have oral sex you can use dental dam which is similar to a condom that goes over the female's genital area when having oral sex.

No sex is safe unless you use a condom. Oral sex can cause problems in the mouth and throat.

you can get anything by oral sex.....regular sex is safest IF YOU USE A CONDOM!

you can still contract std's through oral sex, but you will not get pregnant - so it is safer in that aspect

neither is safe but as long as used with a condom then you will be ok....i know condom can be a little gross to have oral with...but there are flavored lube you can use....try that

i think you can get STDS from oral sex if the guys sperm goes in your mouth.
