Anybody have some good ideas for my sweet sixteen in a few months? Like ways to save on costs, make it a bit more creative than they usually are. I don't want it to be your typical "oh-my-god i wanna be a diva" sweet sixteen, just fun for everyone. I want to rent a place and invite a bunch of people, but other than that any ideas/suggestions/past experiences? Thanks people.

You could do a theme. Black and white, luau, pimps and hoes party (lol), anything really. Kind of makes parties more cohesive sometimes. People are pretty easy to entertain. If you're going to rent a place you could just have a lot ofloud music invite a ton of people and have a dance party. Just supply a lot of food and non-alcoholic coctails and people will be able to entertain themselves, sometimes the best gatherings are the ones where you don't go crazy trying too hard.

Just because it's legal to drink, I would do without the alcohol. Do you really need it to make this a great party?
Start calling around if you're going to rent a place. And you are not going to be able to get away with the party "on the cheap". You want a bunch a people, a rental, alcohol, food, and I'm assuming decorations?! All for a 16th birthday party? Are you the parent? If not, I'd leave this party up to the parents. It's going to cost you a bunch!

hire a dj, lease a chocolate waterfall and purchase clean end result like strawberries, bananas, kiwis to dip in it with those shish-ko-bob sticks, fill the pool with balloons for relaxing or you are able to lease a volleyball internet from the community community/interest midsection for the pool, because of the fact the occasion is for underage human beings, you will possibly be able to additionally make non alcoholic cocktails, those are so yummy!!! in basic terms have relaxing with it...sixteen purely comes as quickly as and it must be particular and something the adolescents will remember for years yet to return-good success.
