Easiest and most effective is buy a carbon odor absorber - best one is FRIDGE-IT. Its a small purple cube with an activated carbon filter inside. A little more than baking soda, but well worth it. Still cheap. Just put one on two in your refrigerator and freezer and no more smells. It really works so much better than baking soda and lasts alot longer too. You can also use these things in lots of other places too. I'm pretty sure you can get it at walmart or linens and things and some other places. Check the internet.

Like suggested, use Arm & Hammer Baking Soda to keep all the different scents off! Once you open the bag of the frozen veggies, do you reseal the bag? I wrap the bag nicely and use a rubber band to hold it in place. Give it a try! It works!

Re-seal your veggies in an air-tight ziplock plastic bag or container. That should help. Also, keep a box of baking soda in the fridge to help absorb those odors.

...put them in a zip lock freezer bag or at least try to reseal the bag they came in...chip clips are good or twist ties from bread bags...also put an open box of baking soda in the freezer...it will absorb the bad smells.

Put them in a Ziploc bag after opening them or in a tight fitting lid container.

Put baking soda in your refrigerator.

I bought one of those vacuum heat sealers, it does not get smell or freezer burn. Worth every penny. I can not buy bulk and save money.

Definitely try the carbon product. Activated carbon will absorb odors and prevent them from spreading to other foods.
