which type of diabetic you have when you are prescribe this medication.....is the worse or what??

type -2 i take it with my insulin too ask doctor he knows what stage you are at just be careful of your sugar levels

I take Metformin same as glucophage and I'm NOT diabetic, however I do have PCOS. Glucophage are given to those who are not severe enough to actually take insulin meaning that they can still be diet controlled with a little help from glucophage. No when it is worse is when your actually taking the insulin injections. I hope this helps.

glucophage is prescribed for type 2 diabetes. It is an oral antidiabetic medication used when the pancreas still has some function.It can be used with other oral meds. or with insulin.
It sometimes causes stomach upset and cramping in some people.
