lets pretend i went and got and std test done will lets just say it comes back with something will they make me give them a list of the people ive messed with are they allowed to make me cuz my friend wants to but she is scared and she doesnt want every one know if something does come back but the dude she was messing with got mad and told her some sh*t and if its true than she would of got it from him and she doesn't want to have to tell her old partners she's sure they dont have anything and she hasn't messed with anyone since this a**hole told her this so she shouldn't have to tell any one else or the people wont make her tell will they cuz i told her to go take the test but i dont want her mad at me if they make her tell but i am really scared for her she is like a sister to me plez help us

If the STD is Aids/HIV, notifying partners is required. For other STDs, most states encourage the patient to inform their partners, but they don't require it. Tell you friend to go to the clinic, and ask them this question before her examination just to make sure.

its hard to follow you, but i think youre asking if she'll have to tell her old partners if she has an SDT

She shouldnt get mad at you if she finds out she has to tell. She needs to know if she has an std, and youre a good friend for helping to get her tested.

If she does have an STD, she should tell her old partners because they should be aware if they're exposed. Its the responsible thing to do.
