Hi there, i have been having shortness of breath, i keep taking in deep breath every moments, its like a feeling that i am not breathing enough air. Guess the proper word is air hunger? I went to a blood test, urine test and a x-ray on my lungs. I had already spent lots of money of these test, but they all seem normal. I don't know whats wrong if me. I am a happy go lucky person, which stress perharps, is the last ever thing that will ever happen on me

My first question would be your weight and fitness level. Shortness of breath is common in obese and sedentary people. If you can't remember the last time you exercised, maybe its time to put aside time in your schedule.

If you have also been feeling sick, a viral upper respiratory infection like viral bronchitis can cause your symptoms and it usually takes about a week to feel normal, maybe more.

If your a smoker then maybe that has finally caught up to you. Some smokers have periods (depending on weather and other stuff) where they have a tough time getting air.

Lastly I if all else fails I would start to worry about certain conditions that don't show up well on x-rays such as different types of cancer. This is a last ditch attempt to find whats wrong and the extra tests can be quite pricy.

Best of luck.

Asthma, allergies, and/or COPD all have similar symptoms, the first one that comes to mind with your situation strikes me as a potential asthma attack. If its not overwhelming but getting worse, it's time to see a Dr. or specialist.
