Go now and your doc will let you know when to come back again. Some show up right away, others (such as HPV) can take years. Also there are a few strains of HPV that can cause cervical cancer in women, but men do not test positive for (although it is possible to test positive if they take skin samples from every piece of your genital area). So ALWAYS use protection!

same day if you go to a clinic.... I know I went got checked got the results back like 15 min later...

chlyamadia and ghonnorea only take a couple weeks but hepatitis, syphlis,and hiv (all blood tests) can take up to 3 months. hpv can take years b/c i got it and didnt know til 2 yrs later and i was getting reg. paps. i only had sex w/ one person so i know who it was from.
