cold sores are a form of the herpes virus, but it is not always sexually transmitted. You can get it from just being sick, but you can give it to your husband. It's just another version of the virus.

Yes, a cold sore is oral herpes (Herpes Simplex 1). Genital herpes (Herpes Simples 2) are different. Having a cold sore does not mean your husbabnd has cheated on you... you may have been carrying the virus since childhood.

It is important to know that performing oral sex can spread HSV1 to the genital area, and still be HSV1.

Please do yourself a favour and research more information on herpes. It is a very common virus, and cannot be cured. There is treatment to reduce outbreaks.

I got clinically diagnosed with herpes simplex virus (type 2) about 3 years ago, whilst I was still attending college and had a mindless one-night stand. I understand loads of people say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a huge mistake that one time and suddenly I felt like I was going to have to live with the consequences for the rest of my life. The hardest part was feeling I could never date men again. In the end, who wants to go out with someone that has sores round her private parts? But since a friend shared this movie https://tr.im/QVDur everything changed.

Not only was I able to remove all traces of the herpes virus from my system in less than 21 days, but I was also able to begin dating again. I even met the guy of my dreams and I'm so blessed to write that just a week ago, in front of everyone in a crowded restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me!! This program gave me back the opportunity to be happy and experience true love again. Now I want to help others too by sharing this story.

Cold sores is a type of herpes virus, but completely different from the kind that you would get down in your genitals. It doesnt necessarly mean its from your husband but it could possibly be a cold sore. You can easily get that from sharing a cup or something with somebody who has cold sores and was on their outbreaks.

you can get a cold sore from other sources, not just sex..

yes, cold sores are a form of the herpes virus, once you have one develop, you will get them for the rest of your life..

genital herpes and the type of herpes simplex that causes cold sores are not the same..it is a different strain..

you can get infected by many different means, such as : an infected person drinking from your glass ( only if they have a cold sore present that is in the stage of blistering, not dried up ) ..
this is just one example...
I get cold sores, and I have gotten them since I was a very young child. I got them from being kissed by an elderly grandparent ( you know how grandparents give small children kisses..not sexual ) ..I have been with the same man for 14 years and he does not get them..reason being, he has not gotten the virus from me..when I have a cold sore outbreak, I do not kiss him and I use one drinking glass and silverware for myself untill it is healed and I was my utensils with bleach wter to kill the virus...

Just about everyone is infected with herpes 1, the virus that causes cold sores. Cold sores will crop up after illness, sun exposure, stress, etc.

A cold sore is caused by a type of herpes virus. So is chickenpox. Herpes viruses are pretty common, as are cold sores. And yes, any type of illness or other systemic stress can trigger a cold sore.

This could be either. If your husband has cheated on you again, he may or may not admit it, of course, but even if he did, this may not have been directly responsible for your cold sore.

There is a much bigger question here, and it's one that only you can answer for yourself. If your husband cheats on you, do you still want him in your life, and why or why not.

Lord only know why...but they have changed the name of a simple cold sore to herpes complex 1. Herpes 2 is the sexually transmitted one.
