What vegetables are good in a thoran recipe besides green bean, cabbage or spinach?

Are there any other vegetable thorans? (By thoran I mean the decicious dish with lentils, coconut, spices and a vegetable).

You can use the looong payaru which we call chowli in my mother tongue, then u can use kotthamara (if u like its taste), i use carrot too, raw banana,....hope i answered your question to your satisfaction :)
