I usually have an annual Kentucky Derby party for about 50-60 people. This year it just happens that Cinco de Mayo falls on the same Saturday and I thought it would be fun to combine the 2!

Does anybody have any clever suggestions for food, drinks or decoration etc.? I think we're going to roast a pig, but other than that I'm not sure what else to serve.

In past years we've had contests for the best hat - perhaps this year I switch this to best "sombrero" hehe. Any ideas would be appreciated.

If you go these sites, you'll probably find ideas for both parties that you could combine.

You might want to have some American food in addition to Tex-Mex food. Most Kentuckians will eat a variety of foods though there are still some ppl who aren't used to the Tex-Mex food.
