I slept with a woman suffering from Genital Herpes. She did not tell me about it. I have an outbreak now. I am having Zovirax for it but can anything else help to eliminate the pain, the little blisters ? Is there no cure after all for this ????

L-Lysine is the PERFECT way to go!!!!!! Take 2-4 a day, 500 mg, and you will honestly be fine. I feel that you could even eliminate the prescribtion drugs, because I have and found that since I've done so and when with the vitamin routine, I never, I repeat never have a break out!!! It's completely stopped since I've taken L-Lysine. You can buy 100 pills for only 2.99-5.99 at WalMart, Target, Rite Aid, CVS...ANYWHERE!!!!!! Also, on the RARE occasion I do get a small outbreak, I increase the amount of L-Lysine I take, and I rub a little bit of Tea Tree Oil (Found in the same stores for only 7.99) on it, and the pain goes away and it goes away in 1-2 days. No more. Just know, that having this doesn't make you less than a person, it's just something that you deal with, and how dare people judge, because you don't have to sleep around to get it. My boyfriend cheated on me with someone who had it, and I unknownly got it. That doesn't make it my fault and it doesn't make me dirty or a slut...good luck, trust me, this way works. Forget the prescribe medince.

There is no cure for genital herpes. Sorry. I have it too. Medication like Valtrex will help. If you are having an outbreak right now I'd recommend L-Lysine which can be bought at any Walmart or pharmacy type story in the vitamin section. I take a couple thousand milligrams of it when I'm getting an outbreak and it always goes away overnight. It helped it go away faster when I took it during an outbreak. Also living a stress free lifestyle and eating right can help minimize them. But at this time there is no cure and anyone you sleep with could get it from you.

I got diagnosed with the herpes simplex virus (type 2) about 5 years back, when I was still attending college and had a stupid one-night stand. I realize loads of young women say this, but I swear I had never done that sort of thing before. I just made a mistake that one time and suddenly it seemed like I was going to have to live with the consequences for the rest of my life. The worst part was feeling I could never date men again. After all, who wants to go out with a girl who has sores around her "you know what" area? But since a friend shared this video https://tr.im/Csuwq everything got better.

Not only was I able to eliminate all remnants of the herpes simplex virus from my system in less than three weeks, but I was also able to begin dating again. I even met the guy of my dreams and I'm so blessed to write that just last week, in front of everyone in a busy restaurant, he got down on one knee and proposed to me! This system gave me back the opportunity to be happy and experience true love again. Now I want to help others by sharing this story.

I am absolutely terrified and I feel so alone. I just found out last week that I tested positive for hsv1 and 2. I have been with the same man for the past 10 years and within the last year found out that he has cheated on me with numerous women. I am so scared that I can give it to my children by kissing them and them eating with me...I feel like my whole life has changed. And even though the nurses, my doctor, and websites say that a lot of people have it I still feel like I am by myself. My self esteem has dropped and I feel like I have been used up. But now, My life is very happy.

Im sorry...Go see a doctor right away to help. Before seeing your doc write down a list of questions that you want to ask..It's your best bet.Lots of people on here will answer your question failing to tell you the most, to go seek medical advice.

I forgot the namne of the pill but one takes it once a day and no outbreaks every again and you take it only once a day. It is new on the market. ask your physician about it or go online and inquire and put in herpes and you will find out all you need to know. This pill will protect you and your partner.

Well, I guess you have learned a terrible lesson, right? Now you know not to sleep around. Why did you do that unprotected on top of it too?

Go to a health food store and there are ointments that can help. Also, take L-Lysine too, 2, 500 mg. tablets at least 2 to 3 times a day with lots of water. You can purchase them at the health food store too. Also, de-stress, it makes it worse. Take a nice warm bath, with epsom salts too.

You are now stuck with this for the rest of your life. I strongly suggest that if you decide to have sex, you tell your partner and use protection, ALWAYS. You don't want to pass it to someone else.
