Sometimes if your lucky the left arm also center chest, abdominal pains and even pain in the jaw bones, that's where my pain was and my brother was in his chest and left arm. Some people mostly diabetics won't even have a symptom before an heart attack.Any pain in the upper part of your body that hurts when exerting yourself and eases up when you rest is a sign of heart problems. My Dr. told me most people suffer and die from heart attacks because they have these symptoms and they are in denial that it could be there hearts causing the pain and never get checked until its to late.Better safe than sorry. If you have little short pains in the arm or chest that just last a few seconds its usually not your heart.

I don't know what is it caused ... What is the side affect he said no chest pain ... I was told if he have a chest pain I would bring him to ER but he said no chest pain ... he always gets too tired so easily .... What am I gonna to do about it ? with my husband ? I fond of him so much I love him so much I don't want to see him frustrated or sad or grounchy like that .. I want him to be happy and positives ... He seems lost a lot of motivation ... I am the housewife .... clean everyday... cook supper we always have a healthy dinner we always have light breakfast and lunch .... healthy .... I still don't get it at all why the left arm from the shoulder to his hand is bothering him a lot ... he saw his doctor about week ago gave him meds but the meds does not help at all ... his other meds also didn't help either.. I can't figures ... could be something wrong ?

Well first off to answer your question the pain that some people have in their arm(s) during a heart attack is a referred pain. Referred pain is when you experience in one part of your body when the problem is really in another part of your body. Good examples of this would be how some people who have an appendicitis will complain of pain in their right shoulder. Or will complain of pain in there left abdomen. Secondly and more importantly is the fact that you stated that you have significantly higher b/p in your right arm compared to your left arm. This is something you need to report to your doctor right away. Significantly differing B/P in the arms is a sign of a possible aortic aneurysm. An aneurysm is a ballooning of a blood vessel due to weakening of the vessel wall. If an aortic aneurysm ruptures, that is it you will be dead in a matter of a couple seconds. The fact that you have hypertension also supports the diagnosis of an aneurysm. Good Luck!

In 90% of the case it's left, but in ER i have seen Both Arms simultaneously with severe pain, and right the least.
In old standing diabetics no pain only shortness of breath and restlessness and sweating.

Normally it is the left arm.
Sometimes there are pains in the right arm if it has radiated from the chest across to the right side.
