Only in Rachael Ray land, my friend, where they also say, "yummo," and have garbage bowls on every table, and are "too cool for school."
If you've seen Rachael Ray's shows, you'll know what I'm talking about! Tee hee!

Well, I grew up in the midwest, which is where I think I started using the shortened "Sammy" as opposed to sandwich. Although now I think it's one of Rachel Ray's catchphrases, so I'm sure the trend is spreading.

i think it might be in the south, kind of like a slang word for sandwhich, i guess. But Rachel Ray on Food Network says it all the time! haha. And she usually travels alot in the southern regions of america, so i would think it's a word from the southern area. But i'm pretty sure that northerners would understand it too.
