A variety of reasons. It is believed that AIDS originated in Africa. Very likely from someone accidentally cutting themselves while carving a chimpanzee. Another factor is that they don't have as easy access to contraception or protection like we do. Also most of them can't afford it.

Aids started in Africa. In the fifties when they were trying to find a cure for Polo they test the vaccine on the people there. They made the Polo vaccine from monkey kidneys. It was not until the last 70's and early 80's they knew. Since people do not die from AIDS, they die from sickness because the body cannot fight so it was along time before some one put 2 and 2 together.

Because in Africa there is not enuff funds to buy new needals. The hospitals are being forced to reuse the neadles. So when you go in to get a shot your being contaminated. They try to clean them but shots today are disposable. They are not maid to be reused. Its imposible to completely clean them. Long ago the hospitals would use the Metal reusable neadles that can be cleaned. They even had a machine that would clean them. If you were to put a disposabel shot in one of these such machines it would melt. So like i said they can not completely clean the neadles after use. So when someone infected by Aids gets a shot the neadle is contaminated. I hope i could explain it good enuff for you.

Poor education. I think it was in Zaire where the president's health minister said that the cure for AIDS was promescuity or sex with a virgin until the late 1990s. They also have less money for certain drugs that can control HIV. Many countries don't make their problem public and therefore do not get appropriate international funding and aide.

because people over there are promiscuous and don't wear condoms. they pass it down with through there children and people who don't know have aids give it to someone else. its just not that its more over there its just they don't have the money or knowledge to go get tested. some marriages is based on a contract for like example 5 years and then they can get divorced so they have more partners. also because there told that curing aids or the sickness was to have sex with a virgin. thats also why alot of people get raped over there because they think all white people are virgins. ha not true.

They don't have/ lack of resources for condoms and STD prevention. The education is not there, if they were given the choices, education and means of supplying those things, it would be less problems. So we as Americans, should be thankful for what we have here, that we have the resources and capabilities of obtaining these birth control devices. Maybe we as a nation can help them out.
