These are major symptoms of type 1 diabetes, please get him to a doctor or endocrinologist for an HbA1C test (average glucose levels over a 3 month period) and a urine ketone test (protein in urine). If it is diabetes and s/he continues to go untreated for too long, s/he could go into a coma. Please get to a doctor.

These are included in amongst the classic symptoms of diabetes. Your partner really does need to get it checked out.

My suggestion is that he phone the doctor's surgery and asks for an urgent appointment as you suspect diabetes. The sooner you get him checked out the better. If diabetes is confirmed, he will start treatment soon. Without treatment there are a whole range of complications that can result. Please do get him to the doctors.

Ya the obvious, he needs to drink more water and less pop, he is dehydrating himself with the pop, not to mention the caffeine high. He is getting tired from the crash afterwards. What goes up must come down. You may also want to watch out for diabetes. Have him see a doctor about it.

could be the phenalanoline in the juice it causes thirstyness. Going to the toilet could be because he drinks a lot of pop. I'd get it checked at chemist though to be sure. Lloyds do free tests.
