I have a recipe for you that you can make a head of time and have prepared so you can concentrate on each other. Marinate for a couple of hours a Salem fillet.. Make a mixture of terraki sauce, half teaspoon of ginger, garlic to taste. A tablespoon of a good Mustard then apply to fish. Let sit for two hours. Grill or broil salmon. Make a bed of greens. {I usually use baby spinach but now only eat cooked spinach since I had E-Coli} I would recommend Romaine use additional veges of your choice> I like roasted peppers. olives and artichoke hearts. If you can afford add steamed shrimp. I make a dressing about 1/4 cup of Rice Vinegar or any kind, Soy about two tablespoons a teaspoon of garlic and 1/2 teaspoon or more of ginger. Make ahead so it seeps together. Present with the Salmon on top of everything and a nice wine. refrigerate, And this will leave time for the evening for some serious ROMANCE. Everyone of my friends and relatives loves this. Be Happy and have A Great Valentines Day. Love is to be celebrated.

Orange Turkey Breast
Original source not recorded
Submitted to PCS by: Drew
Ingredients:
1
turkey breast; if frozen, thaw, rinse and dry well
garlic powder
pepper
ground ginger to taste
1
cup orange marmalade
1
6-ounce can orange juice concentrate, thawed
6
ounces dried apricots
¾
cup golden and dark raisins (mixed)
2
onions, sliced
3
carrots, cut diagonally
1½
cups dry; white wine
Directions:
Sprinkle seasonings on the inside of the turkey breast.
Place the turkey in a large roasting pan.
Spread top of turkey with marmalade, and pour the orange concentrate over the turkey.
Place the apricots, raisins, onions, and carrots around the turkey.
Add the wine to the pan.
Roast the turkey for about 1½ hours in a 350° oven, basting every 30 minutes.
It is a good idea to insert a meat thermometer into the thickest part of the breast.
Cook breast until it has an internal temperature of 185°.
If the top gets too brown before it is done, cover loosely with greased foil.
Make sure that there is liquid on the bottom of the pan, adding more wine if needed.
Let the turkey stand about 20 minutes before slicing.
To serve, place the sliced meat over the vegetables and sauce, or serve the sauce separately.
Notes:
Serves 6 - 8.
i make a nice mashed potato to serve with it,
2 packages ot ore-ida cubed potato
1 cup chicken broth
1 t onion powder
1/2 t garlic powder
2 T butter or you can use extra virgin olive oil
put about 1/2 c to 3/4c water into a 2 qt pot and bring to a boil add potato packs, let steam covered tightly for about 10 min or till they are tender.
add the broth and the rest of ingredients mash and serve.

Well this seems like a task but its good it,s more like an "Italian turkey rub", in a large bowl, this is all up to your eyes and senses when you do the rub, your going to mix olive oil, lets say maybe 2 cups, a few splashes of balsamic vinaigrette, pesto paste, about a table spoon, Mrs dash garlic/herb, and minced garlic mozzarella/parm cheese, or crumbled blue cheese rub it on the turkey throw some on the inside prior to stuffing, its more like a rub but when you finish the work of art you can throw the rub mixture into the roasting bag and place about a cup of water in as well,
It really isn't that hard, things seems so difficult to explain in regards to food but its all a process, Cooking should never be a chore even though it is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! olive oil is so diversified for cooking needs, remember less is more, its different that's the whole thing its good dont do a standard bird, you could throw some garlic potatoes on the inside of the bird, not mashed of course slice up some potatoes throw them in the bird, just watch, its fun

This is soooo good! A heart shaped-jello mold would be a great way to present it:
Red Hot Jello
Lg. pkg. cherry jello
1/2 cup cinnamon imperials (Red Hots)
2 cups boiling water
2 cups cold applesauce
Melt red hots in the boiling water. Add jello and dissolve. Add the applesauce. Pour into jello mold and chill.
Whether it's 'just family' or a nice dinner party for your adult friends, this is so yummy no one will care that it's jello.
Enjoy!
