You are right but there is nothing you can do. That is why everyone is responsible for their own body. Assume everyone has an STD (because there are MILLIONS living with STDs). So get to know someone well before having sex with them and ask a lot of questions. How many women have you slept with? Have you ever had sex with a man or are you 100% straight? Do you have any STDs? Have you ever been tested for STDs? When is the last time you saw a doctor? Those are some examples.
Always use condoms and get an STD screening every year by your doctor. Also if you see sores on a man's genitals or on his mouth DO NOT kiss him or have any sexual contact while he has the sores.

My best friend has had genital herpes for about eight months now, and it's been really rough. She's had about 7 outbreaks. Everywhere I read it says it stops flaring up so much after time, but its not getting less frequent for her. She's been on Antiviral meds the whole time, too. She also has type 1 diabetes which she has had her whole life, which really weakens her immune system. Will it ever get better?

But after a friend share this video everything has changed.

If you can, warn the girls he's sleeping with that they could contract the disease. If he is purposely infecting women he needs to be put in jail. If you know this to be the case then turn him in. Also, do not waste your time and energy on this man-w hore. You can do much better then him. I'm sorry you ended up catching herpes from this pig but at least you didn't catch AIDS. Make sure you have yourself fully tested for other STD's and you will need to be careful during sex so you don't pass the disease on to someone else. Goos Luck and forget the loser, he's gotten you in enough trouble!!!

Please know that Herpes is still contagious when you don't have sores. You can still spread it to someone. Go to you're doc and get treated. I heard that Valtrex is really good and will help in preventing oubreaks. The longer w/ out outbreaks the less to spread.

Forget you're boyfriend. It's unfortunate and I'm sorry, but this is something I always keep in mind....
"people don't get std's from people they don't trust , they get them from people the do".

Good luck!

Now you know how you got herpes from him, he has been sleeping around, got and STD and brought it home to you. You are doing well to be rid of him and you do not need to worry about what he is doing. You need to take care of you and move on. You deserve much better than that and he certainly is not worthy of you.

Now she has it too!!! Enroll his name in "dontdatehimgirl.com". It is a website where other women can see his is not someone to sleep with. It may be the only way to prevent others from catching what you have and cannot get rid of. I know it sucks for you, especially for the future relationships but he is not worth it and I would make sure he knows it. You can even add his photo!!

I would tell everyone I know the would listen that he has it. The others are answering your question, but you can't really "treat" herpes. You will always have it.

In this one as well, i would worry more about yourself. Talk to your talk about what you can do during outbreaks.
