I am looking for 'almond milk' suitable for drinking. The best price I've found in London, England is £2.50 for a 1 Litre carton of almond milk. Do you have the phone number/address of a place where I can buy it more cheaply in London?

I distinctly remember having to be revived when I saw the price tag in Sainsburys! Try a Chinese supermarket - they sell some great stuff like Pak choi!! Making your own is a definite possibility to investigate if you can buy almonds from a fruit and veg wholesaler !! You can buy soy/almond milk making machines on the net. I prefer oat milk and make my own if I need it for anything.

I can't believe people telling you to use cow's milk !!
I know that you are asking becasue either a)You suffer from severe lactose intollerance and cannot digest cow's milk.
b) are an ovo-vegetarian.
c) are a fellow vegan.

In response to the poster above (1) cow's don't produce wool, they produce leather (2) When the female cow is impregnanted in order for milk production - it's calf is taken away (so that the milk can be sold to market) - often the male cow is killed for veal - so if you drink milk you contribute to cow's being killed.

Why would you want to drink almond milk at £2.50 a litre when you can buy regular milk at 62p a litre?
You have posted in the vegetarian and vegan section so I assume this is why, but you do not kill a cow for its milk so why not drink it? You wear clothes made from its wool, so why not drink its milk?
