I just drank a XXL Monster and 2 Red Bulls. Just from those alone, that's 135 grams of sugar. How much sugar am I supposed to have without having the risk of diabetes? And how much should I have daily to be safe?

See until you have diabetes you can consume any amount of sugar and your pancreas would do the job for you however after you get diabetes you should stop eating sugar. It is only an illusion that if you take too much sugar you will get diabetes but on the contarary when you take more sugar the performance of your pancreas more and this activity would act as an exercise to it and it will have a long life to serve you. It is like this all our organs if they are used they will be functioning properly and if you give them rest they will rust.

What're you trying to do, wreck your kidneys? lol If you're in good physical shape and get plenty of exercise, that amount of sugar is not likely to cause harm in the short term. However, the younger you are when you begin to take control of your diet and learn the principles of healthy nutrition, the more likely you'll be able to avoid long-term health problems as you approach your 30th birthday.

There is no exact amount of sugar that is "too much", it varies with the individual. You start getting fat, you're getting too much in the way of complex carbohydrates - that includes but is not limited to refined sugars (there're more than one of those).

Hey: once in awhile, everybody overdoes it. It usually ain't a problem unless you do it all the time - and recognizing that demands that you be painfully honest with yourself. It might be awkward and uncomfortable to admit, but hey - you ain't seen pain unless you've got diabetes or another serious health problem that's profoundly affected by overindulgence. Once you've got diabetes or others of those chronic illnesses, you're up the creek - they're incurable.

Daily to be safe? You could add no sugar, only getting whats in the food you eat and be just fine. With the kind of sugar you're taking in, over time you'd be likey to acquire Diabetes type 2, especially if you have a family history of it. 100 years ago we ate a fraction of the sugar we do now, and diabetes thype 2 was virtually unkown- now it's a leading killer.

Listen to this: I am from Costa Rica, and we brag to have the satisfactory espresso on the planet! I drink espresso simply black and with out a sugar in any respect!!!! That´s the truly style of espresso! If you upload sugar then it tastes exclusive, and if you happen to upload milk or cream then it tastes approach exclusive... So, if you happen to rather desire to drink espresso and now not just a few scorching refreshment, get it black and sugarless!

Totally depends on your metabolism. To some this amount is nothing, others will climb the walls. Especially kids.

135g is not that bad, especially if you will be exercising. See my other answer on 500g.
