I ask this because people keep selling hemp, and more hemp...and they never mention cotton or bamboo.

That's because cotton is long known as a plant from which fabrics are made. Making fabrics from hemp is a newer idea.

Bamboo is a grass, but one that can be used as food or as building materials. I've never heard of using bamboo for fabrics, but anything is possible. And yes, it's vegan.

I would assume it would be appropriate to use since bamboo is a plant. I have bamboo towels and they are the best I've ever owned; they're more absorbent than cotton.

Maybe the bamboo ones are a new idea? Not sure about that part.
