I've never had an allergy test but I've had blood tests before and they've never really bothered me. The thing I suggest though is to try to be as relaxed as possible when having blood drawn so that your arm doesn't tense up and so that you don't "anticipate" any discomfort.
A trick that I've taught my kids is to look away when your blood is about to be drawn, take deep slow breaths and squeeze the hand of your arm that is NOT having blood drawn from it. This seems to help them a lot whenever they've had blood drawn. :)

allergy test consist of little needles with the specific allergy injected under your skin and what "warps" up will be what you are allergic to. minimal pain and discomfort. blood test is quite simple and if the person that is taking your blood is good it wont hurt.
