If you've been coughing for over 2 weeks it could be a treatable illness like walking pneumonia or bronchitis. See a doctor and tell himher about your cough, and he/she will probably listen to the inside of your lungs and take an x-ray.
It could be lung cancer but it's unlikely unless you have a series of other lung-related problems.

I used to have a problem like your for years, sometimes even spitting a tickle of blood. My advice go get a check up for lung cancer. Then stop smoking, taking in spicy stuffs, chocolate and ask the doc for a list of foods that you might be irritant to such as chicken, seafood, etc. And last of all, stay calm no matter what happen and rest more, my friend. Not forgetting to drink more water.

You have not written your age or about weight loss. If you are having this problem since a long time without fever than It must be allergic. You must check after what these symptom appears. Avoid that thing and get rid of it. Secondly you must get yourself examined by a doctor for Koch's lesion.

Try theraflu. Its mild and wont hurt you. You most likely have alergies. Alergie tabs are stronger than theraflu.
