It could be heartburn or it could be a muscle ache from running with your arms up for a while or it could be what you seem to be fearing, the beginning of a heart attack. If you're worried about it be sure to see your Dr. At the very least he can order blood tests and an EKG to be sure everything is ok and calm your fears. Perhaps you should take it easy until you talk to your Dr. If the pains gets worse or more persistent you should probably seek more immediate help. Good luck!

You are much more likely to experience pain from muscles after the exercise than during. 99% of the time this is nothing more than muscle cramping from areas not properly stretched out. When you rest all of the overworked muscles in your body tense up until there is more muscle growth to protect the muscle, because of the tiny injuries in the muscle that promote growth.

Shooting pains happen when overly tense muscles try to move. This is the most likely problem you are experiencing.

It could be and most likely is a muscle issue with the ribs. Sharp pains are not something associated with the heart.
