I know what my setting should be - and I need to lower it down to make it correct. Thanks.

I just need it to go from an 11 to a 9. I had a sleep study and they only gave me a new machine - which my insurance didn't cover so I didn't get one. Now I don't have insurance and it will cost me $140 to go to the Dr to get an "official" prescription and then to my old machine place and pay them for a 1 minute job.

I know it is a "9" because they gave me the results to send to the new insurance company.

Your machine can be adjusted, but if you attempt to adjust it your self, no respiratory therapist will be allowed to touch it in the future.

Get it done, do it right!

Do not adjust it, call your home respiratory therapy people to do it
You don't need a new machine, however you should never change your own settings on your machine. I would call the company where you got it and let them look at the dr orders and change it for you. One mistake on on changing the settings means your health and wellbeing.

Only your Doctor or the company respiratory personnel is authorized to increase or lower the pressure on your CPAP machine.
