Yes. The influence of temperature in heart rate must be understood in therms of HEAT REGULATION, a physiological system controled by HYPOTHALAMUS (regulating center),a small part of the brain. For example when the body temperature is increased (in fever) or the environment temperature is increased, the hart rate will increase as result of hypothalamus action to mantain the internal temperature constant, as well as other reactions are started like transpiration or vasodilatation.

probably. For example, if the temperature was 6,000,000 degrees Kelvin, I think that would reduce your heart rate to zero because you would be vaporized. If the temperature was 15 degrees Kelvin, it would also decrease heart rate to about 0, since you would die here too and the molecules would move really really slow due to lack of internal kinetic energy. Of course, like when the body is very cold, the heart has to work harder to warm the skin and maintain core heat.
The heart has to work harder when the body is excessively hot, also, because sweat takes energy like all other body functions take energy.

yea it does, being very cold gets the heart beat up
